Whiter, brighter, younger-looking smiles! We see them everywhere: in the movies, on television and in magazines. People who make their living looking great spend thousands of dollars to look the way they do. Their pictures have been air-brushed to make them look perfect. How can we get such perfect looking smiles? Is this a realistic goal for us? Everyone is born with a different colour and shade of teeth. Teeth are not normally white. Natural aging of our teeth does result in a yellower appearance. Coffee, tea, cola and tobacco products will change the colour of your teeth. Making the effort to control these habits will make a difference to the appearance of your teeth. |

Our Team
Dr. Ewa Tobin graduated as a dentist with distinction from Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in her home city of Poznan, Poland in 1996. After coming to Canada, she completed the National Dental Examining Board exams in July 1998 to become licensed in Ontario to practice dentistry.
At the start of her career, she concluded a one year program of Dental Residency at Sunnybrook and Women’s College Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Tobin also provided dental services for Native Indians on Pikangikum Reserve in Northern Ontario. She enjoyed both of these experiences tremendously as they gave her a deeper understanding into different priorities and values, which influences her treatment of her patients today.
After completing her residency she worked as an associate in a private practice in Barrie, where she provided comprehensive dental care in a busy practice.
In mid-2008, Dr. Tobin took over an existing dental office in Thornton, where she is planning to stay and grow her dental practice as Thornton and the neighbouring areas grow.
Dr Tobin's passion is natural health, healing and nutrition. She recently completed a series of workshops and seminars with Paracelsus Biological Medicine. In the past, Dr. Tobin studied acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. She is a member of the International Academy of Medicine and Toxicology and the Canadian and Ontario Dental Associations. In addition to her professional career, Ewa enjoys dancing, sailing, horseback riding and photography.
